In the past, many of these images have proceeded to grace the covers of scientific and industrial publications and journals. A stunning full-color calendar featuring all twenty Nikon Small World winning images and honorable mentions is also produced and distributed to all of the contestants. The first place winner receives a selection of Nikon products and equipment worth $3,000.
