Asian American Group AE2C Convenes First Annual Conference
A Bridge for Sustainable Energy Between the US and Asia

WHO: For all individuals and organizations interested in sustainable energy and the environment in Asia and the United States. Young professionals and students are especially welcome.
WHAT: Asian Americans in Energy, the Environment and Commerce (AE2C) will hold its first annual conference with a series of distinguished speakers. They will share insights about energy projects in Asia, U.S. and China relations, and global flows of capital and personnel. Speakers include Tseming Yang, Deputy General Counsel, US EPA (keynote) Gary Zheng, CEO, Lubbock Power & Light; Colin Tam, CEO, Crystal Vision Energy Ltd.; Sarav Periasamy, President & CEO, Peri Software, Inc.; Jimmy Rhee, Assistant Secretary of Commerce, Commonwealth of Virginia, and Rachelle Chong, Former Commissioner, California Public Utilities Commission.
Speakers will address the value of diversity in maintaining and growing a workforce for clean energy. The conference will feature speed networking meetings for seasoned professionals as well as career guidance for entry level professionals and students. A reception and dinner will follow the conference.
