Statement of energy interests and expertise:
Dr. Gupta's main research interests and contributions have been in the fields of Combustion, Swirl Flows, Diagnostics, Spray, High Temperatuire Air Combustion, Thermal Destruction of Wastes and Hazardous Wastes, Environmental Pollution, mixing and Alternative Fuels. More recently he has been working on clean conversion of biomass, Wastes and Low Grade fuels to clean Hydrogen-rich Syn gas and liquid fuels, small scale combustion systems and micro-combution systems, flameless oxidation of fuels with application to furnaces, boilers and gas turbine combustion and other advanced combustion systems, Rocket Propulsion, Underwaster Propulsion, and Sulfur removal from Natural Gas and gas Processing. |
