Statement of energy interests and expertise:
My research interests include the potential of carbon-free energy sources--nuclear, solar, wind, biomass, and fossil fuels with carbon sequestration--to reduce global carbon emissions over the next 50 to 100 years. I have particular interests in the future of nuclear energy systems, and I have written on the cost, safety, waste disposal, and nonproliferation impacts of various nuclear fuel-cycle alternatives. |
